Artist & Curator Professional Development Opportunities

In May, June and July 2013 a call was opened for practitioners (artists, curators, producers etc) in the South West to apply for support towards professional development projects

A limited number of individual bursaries of up to £500 were available to help fund professional development projects. This may be to pay an artist/professional for mentoring, towards a CPD course or scheme, for specific tailored professional development support or could pay for the cost of our Writing for the Visual Arts Residential Course in partnership with Arvon Foundation in January 2014. Advisory support in connecting with arts organisations, venues and writers will also be available for successful applicants via Visual Arts South West. For more details of the application process please click here >>

VASW received over 60 applications, and we were able to support approximately 50%. We will be reporting on the progress of these projects over the forthcoming months.
