Stroud Valleys Artspace

SVA is an artist led project for the promotion of contemporary arts, providing studio space for professional artists, an innovative and diverse artistic programme and the annual Site Festival in May. Initiated in 1996, its founder members had the vision to see the potential in the physically and culturally empty spaces in the heart of a struggling market town. After years of continuous activity SVA moved into one of it’s most significant stages with a major refurbishment of it’s building. SVA recently expanded it’s programme to a new venue - an industrial heritage building venue, the Brunel Goods Shed.
