A Soft Introduction is a new body of work developed by Laura Edmunds. It considers slippages, things without edges and the transmission of residual affect through drawing, installation and sound; an attempt to capture that which cannot be held. This body of work sees Edmunds using drawing to capture a sense of energy within space, reflecting on the idea that we are impermanent. Through sound, shape-shifting boundaries are explored - becoming container and contained.
