Group 7 was originally formed in the 1970s – from 7 artists. Over the years the group has changed and now includes, Brian Bishop, Martyn Brewster, Bonnie Brown, Fran Donovan, Michael Griffiths, Ursula Leach and Peter Symons.

The group is strengthened by its concerns for the continuation of painting and printmaking, through the exploration particularly of colour and mediums. Their work elicits emotional responses from the viewer and is a commentary on the human condition and the environment. The individuals in this exhibition have all exhibited nationally and internationally.
