Art and Its Materials is an ongoing series exploring the relationship between art, aesthetics and contemporary materialism. Johnny Golding, Professor of Philosophy and Fine Art at the Royal College of Art, London, discusses the strange entangled materiality of radical empathy, storytelling and the erotics of sense. This series of events is organised in partnership with the Philosophy Programme and Social Sciences in the City, University of the West of England (UWE) and the Working Group on Contemporary Materialism.
