Learn how to make your own DIY cinema in this interactive workshop led by Laura Phillips and her band Viridian. Create tactile percussive sounds and explore mark making on film.

Viridian is an all-female ensemble based in Bristol, a dialogical blend of image, voice, cello and double bass. They describe themselves as being "inspiried by stories of keening, magic, and hysteria to infuse an ethereal blend of audio-visual improvisation."

Laura Phillips is an artist based in Bristol whose work investigates obsolescence and percarity as narrative devices. Her work aims to explore the complexity of resonance and tone between sound and image, often using a mixture of photo-chemical processes, found sounds and digital imagery.
