Travel as far south west as the land will take you, beyond Land’s End into the sea, and eventually you will reach the Scilly Isles; the subject of Kurt Jackson’s latest stunning exhibition.  Over the past five years, Kurt has laid down his canvases on these wind-buffeted shores in an attempt to capture the beauty of this pristine refuge from modern life.

Exploring the unique habitats not just of the aquamarine coastline, but also the tufty hillocks, flower-filled fields and high tottering dry-stone walls, the resulting paintings showcase the wildness of these islands at the end of the world from the perspective of one of Cornwall’s most evocative artists.
