'Misrepresentation of being trans': Conversations with the artists and private showing of work.

Social Muscle Club: Queer Bristol and See It From Her + invite you to an insight and private view of work being made for upcoming show 'Misrepresentation of being trans' and conversation with the artists.

'Misrepresentation of being trans' is a body of image-based work that will be shown on the Big Screen at Pride Festival and in exhibition around Bristol in July. This is an opportunity to see the work before it is complete and offer feedback, ask questions and have conversations about the subject of misrepresentation of identities.

This will be an informal space where discussion is welcomed.

We invite you to bring food or snacks to share.
(Bringing drinks is optional.)

Social Muscle Club: Queer Bristol is a project by Bristol-Berlin Queer Arts Exchange with Pride Without Borders. The project consists of five small-scale clubs and a larger public club (March 2018). By bringing together LGBTQIA+ organisations, queer-identifying artists, and LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers in a safe and stimulating environment, we hope to build stronger, happier, more supportive communities. Social Muscle Club: Queer Bristol is National Lottery Funded, Big Lottery Fund.
