PAC Home Talk: Helen Nisbet

Helen Nisbet is a London based curator. Over the past 12 years she has worked on artist projects with organisations including the ICA, InIVA, Contemporary Art Society and Creative Time and with artist studios including Andy Goldsworthy and Ryan Gander. Most recently she organised 8 new commissions for the Arts Council Collection’s 70th Anniversary, which will be shown in venues across England in 2016, including Plymouth Arts Centre.

Helen is also one half of the curatorial collaborative Hi Barbara with Kay Watson, their exhibitions and projects include Frame Thy Fearful Symmetry at Collyer Bristow Gallery and Das Hund’s Autumn 2016 tour of LA, and is currently Senior Curator at UP Projects. As an extension to her curatorial life Helen set up Shetland Night in London in homage to her native Shetland Islands.
