We're incredibly excited to announce The Atlantic Project opening, launching over three weeks of artist projects and creative events across the city. The evening will begin with opening speeches and Hydrosapien: Silent Choir commissioned by Plymouth Art Weekender, both of which we welcome you to join us for free.
The evening will be followed by the experimental sound and film-work of Café Concrete and Ryoji Ikeda, which will be ticketed - please visit the ticket page by clicking here to book yours.
Described as Japan’s leading electronic music composer and visual artist, Ryoji Ikeda will perform Supercodex [live set], a powerful audio-visual concert, using raw data and mathematical models to generate music and projections. In what promises to be an incredibly immersive experience, Supercodex moves from a battle of digital noise to a minimalist soundscape, engaging the listener with elements of techno, dance music and stark visual projections.
Free entry for PAW participants.
