Join us for this special Family Saturday as part of The Sound of Silent: Celebrating 100 years of Music and the Movies. Children and families are invited to make their own silhouette puppets inspired by the silent animated films of the late German filmmaker Lotte Reiniger, who was a pioneer of silhouette animation, preceding Disney to create the first feature length animated film.

Families will also have the opportunity to create their own handmade drums and maracas to provide the soundtrack for our very own silhouette puppet show.

This activity will take place in the Radić Pavilion.

Family Saturdays are aimed at families with children aged 6 – 14 years, younger children are welcome if supervised by parents / carers.

This is a free event, however in order to avoid disappointment advanced booking is recommended.

To book a place please email education@hauserwirth.com or call +44 1749 81 4060
