Where is the line between semi-abstract work and a 'loose' painting? This workshop is designed to assist towards understanding this interesting subject by looking at artists' work, including Annie's own forays into abstraction, followed by a simple exercise to start the process before beginning a painting.

There will be plenty of reference material if inspiration is needed, but do bring along sketches/images if you have something in mind.

Tutor: Annie Monk

Although not suitable for the complete beginner all abilities are welcome.

What you will need:
All tools and materials will be provided but please bring any of your own preferred supports and materials if you wish.
