Leigh Woods, Valley Road, Bristol, Avon BS8 3PZ

Saturday 18 April 2015 – Sunday 06 September 2015

Explore Leigh Woods a beautiful nature reserve and discover a new art work by artist Luke Jerram.

Informed by conversations with fishermen, scientists, and specialists in marine life, Luke Jerram has created a new engaging installation for Leigh Woods, which considers the impact humanity is having on our seas and how our oceans and climate are changing.

Visitors will discover a flotilla of fishing boats, which has mysteriously arrived in a woodland setting high above Avon Gorge.

Over the summer, the boats will become host to a special programme of marine themed talks, walks, and performances that will explore the many different ways we connect to the sea.
