Pick of the Week 2015

January's Guest Editor: Fiona Cassidy

Every month we invite a Guest Editor to select our Pick of the Week feature. Chosen from the activities listed in our events pages they select highlights from across the region.

This January we welcome Fiona Cassidy.

Fiona Cassidy has been Visual Arts and Exhibitions Manager at Salisbury Arts Centre since August 2013 and at Pound Arts, Corsham and Trowbridge Arts since March 2014. Working across these three Wiltshire Arts Centres enables her to closely match artists with the right venue for their work.

After graduating in Fine Art Sculpture from Bath Spa University in 2010, Fiona gained valuable experience working with several South West arts organisations including Foreground Projects, Black Swan Arts and Fringe Arts Bath in addition to curating exhibitions independently. Her current roles perfectly combine her love of working closely with artists, the logistics involved in exhibition planning and the hands-on skills needed to physically make them happen.

Find out more about the three venues in Fiona’s recent post on the Wiltshire Arts Blog or at
