March's Guest Editor: Ben Borthwick

Every month we invite a Guest Editor to select our Pick of the Week feature. Chosen from the activities listed in our events pages they select highlights from across the region.

This March we welcome Ben Borthwick, Artistic Director, Plymouth Arts Centre.

Ben Borthwick is Artistic Director of Plymouth Arts Centre and an independent curator and writer. He was previously Director of the international art prize Artes Mundi 5 and before that Assistant Curator at Tate Modern, where he curated many exhibitions and commissions, including Rosa Barba, Gilbert & George, Latifa Echakhch and Bruce Nauman. Recent independent projects include Andrea Buettner’s 2014 exhibition Hidden Marriage at National Museum Cardiff and the accompanying artist’s book published by Koenig Books. He was on the selection committees for the British Pavilion at the 2013 Venice Biennale and Wales in Venice in 2013 and 2015.
