April's Guest Editor: Martyn Cross

Every month we invite a Guest Editor to select our Pick of the Week feature. Chosen from the activities listed in our events pages they select highlights from across the region.

This April we welcome Artist, Martyn Cross.

Martyn Cross is an artist based in Bristol. Recently selected for the Oriel Davies Painting Open, he has a varied practice that incorporates a wide range of complex aesthetic narratives and the layering of immediate imagery. Recent solo and group exhibitions include: Under the Volcano, Artworks Project Space, London; Test Space Open, Spike Island, Bristol; Limbo Associates Members Show, Margate; Barbican Artworks Open, London; Take Me to the Other Side, Pallas Projects, Dublin; Like a Monkey with a Miniature Cymbal, Aid & Abet, Cambridge; Edgelands, Angelika Studios, High Wycombe; Crumbling Into Dust, Edwardian Cloakroom, Bristol. Martyn was also selected for VASW’s 2016 Mentoring programme.
