Deadline Tuesday 01 May 2018
The Gallery at Plymouth College of Art invites proposals from artists experienced in creating film, video and moving image to produce a new 16mm film work to be installed in The Gallery in March 2019.
The Gallery is particularly interested in creating opportunities for students to support the production of the work (acting as crew/assistants etc) and for the work to be shot in Plymouth (in a studio and/or on location) to allow for this engagement.
As this work will be presented within the Gallery, we also ask artists to consider creating an engaging and immersive experience for our audiences. It is anticipated that the work will be presented digitally (telecine) although we are open to analogue set ups.
There will be a project budget of £5,500 which should include an artist fee, all film production costs and travel and accommodation. There is an additional budget for producing the gallery exhibition.
