There are already four Creative Business Advisors (CBAs) at the heart of the project, each with a dedicated specialist area – Performing Arts; Digital and Design; Visual Arts and Crafts; Museums and Public Galleries. There are also a Graduate Start-up Creative Business Advisor and a Digital Coach for Museums.

Since March 2017 they have been working as a team across the whole of Cornwall’s creative industries sector.

We now need a Generalist Business Advisor to work alongside the sector-specific Creative Business Advisors in providing business advice and support to creative industry businesses.

The role of the Generalist Business Advisor will be to:

  • Provide business support and guidance to  post-Development Needs Analysis (DNA) clients who have generic business development requirements
  • In partnership with the Creative Business Advisors, undertake research, as required, on behalf of the client business
  • Assist in the running of new client sessions; guiding new clients through the programmes of support available via Cultivator
