Sculptorvox call for submissions

http://sculptorvox.com/submissions/

Deadline Tuesday 28 February 2017

Sculptorvox is currently looking for contributions for its first print edition on the title and theme ‘Geometry of Nothing’. As the inaugural volume in a series exploring a variety of concepts around contemporary sculptural practice, ‘Geometry of Nothing’ looks to explore some of the fundamental aspects of ideation, process, spacial-relationships, interaction. The idea that the creative process is ex nihilo – something from nothing – speaks to the origins, drives and outcomes generated by the artists compulsion to create physical, tangible and even virtual objects, realms, realities and dialogues.

We are seeking both written and photographic contributions that broadly and creatively interpret, discuss and respond to the theme by exploring associations, presenting stories and constructing narratives. Suggested topics may include, but are not limited to:

Negative space
Relational aesthetics
Socially engaged practice
Ideation
Interaction
Audience participation

Please read the guidelines prior to submission and send all submissions to editor@urbanfugitive.com

Closing date for submissions – 28 Feb 2017

Sculptorvox is an Urban Fugitive publication
