Deadline Saturday 16 December 2017
A number of studios and workspaces are available at Bridge House, a landmark building in the county town of Trowbridge. Our workspaces are suitable for individual artists, designers and makers, creative enterprises, cultural and other organisations that enjoy art and design. Our spaces have been previously occupied by educational and charitable organisations and they are suitable for micro-enterprises and SMEs requiring a number of desk spaces or for sole traders and practitioners.
All spaces are on the ground floor, are self-contained, heated, with good natural light and height and range in size from 90 - 400 square feet. Some are suitable to be occupied as a suite of rooms by one lead tenant.
Bridge House is conveniently located and has excellent transport links. It is adjacent to Trowbridge Station which has regular train services to Bath, Bristol, Bruton, Cardiff, Frome, Gloucester, London, Portsmouth, Southampton, Westbury and Weymouth. There is a small private car park for permit and disabled parking.
We provide a professional, friendly and inspiring working environment that is enjoyed by a wide range of people. Regular exhibitions, workshops and events are presented by Drawing Projects UK in our exhibition spaces and The Drawing Centre Project Space. These programmes attract local, national and international participants and audiences.
Other on-site facilities include meeting and training rooms for hire and the Studio Cafe, which serves triple-certified coffee, fine teas and more, providing a great place to meet or to relax on site. Studio Cafe also provides catering for meetings and events held at Bridge House.
Trowbridge was identified in the 2016 NESTA report, The Geography of Creativity in th UK, as one of 47 creative clusters in the UK with the creative and cultural industries continuing to grow in this cluster.
