Live Art Local are seeking volunteers for the For Love And Money (FLAM) Conference taking place at the Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham, Hampshire on 25th January.

FLAM 2018 is a conference that focuses on building networks and fundraising for artists, arts professionals and arts organisations.  Speakers on the day represent a number of important organisations including, Arts Council England,  A-N, Artists' Union England, Be Smart About Art, CVAN and many others.

Volunteers should be able to get to Fareham for 9am.  The conference is a one day event running from 9:45 am until 7pm.

There will be a number of areas where help will be required during the day from front of house, including delegate registration; to helping with refreshments and food; and more general duties throughout the day.

We are also seeking volunteers with AV experience to help with the technical side of things.

In return we are offering volunteers the chance to see as  much of the conference as possible.   Lunch and refreshments will be provided.  Travel costs will be reimbursed.  We are also offering artists and creatives either a free listing for a year on our new directory for creatives launching soon.  Or 6 months FREE silver membership to Sticks Affiliate Artists.  This means they will have their own account on the Sticks Affiliate Artists site and receive FREE coaching from an accredited Culture Art Work/ RD1st coach; receive opportunities, including exclusive and free exhibition opportunities;  access to free crits and meetups;  the ability to have reduced prices to events and the chance to make use of our soon to open temporary artist studios and experimental art space at a very low cost.

If you are interested in volunteering then please email beth@liveartlocal.co.uk with your name and contact details and why you would like to volunteer.  Please also provide details of any experience you have.  We aim to get in touch with everyone within 24 hours of hearing from them.

This is a great opportunity to interact with artists, organisations and other arts professionals and to get some valuable experience to support your career.

We will provide references for everyone who volunteers on the day.
