Makers Mews

Makers Mews is a coworking space promoting and advocating for Makers and Artists in Ivybridge, and the South Hams; with a classroom and event space.

Built from repurposed salvaged materials, Makers Mews is housed in a 300 year old barn, overlooking the River Erme and the original ‘Ivy’ bridge our town was named after.

Within, is a coworking space, a classroom come event space, and a share shop.

For our coworkers, the town’s centre (and snack supply area) is on our doorstep; with the breathing space of Longtimber Woods and Dartmoor, a short stroll away.
We've 15 designated Maker spaces, and 6 hot desks available.

Our 3 month minimum membership includes:
- a bespoke area to make your own (with coded entry, CCTV, high speed wifi, tea and coffee supplies, and a shared kitchenette and dining area)
- exterior signage
- discounted event space
- a dedicated web page (sharing your story, with links to your socials and selling sites)
- promotion of you and your work
- connecting you with relevant opportunities to network or to sell
- access to additional revenue streams via markets, workshops, events and exhibitions
- weekly socials around the fire pit

Our event space will host artistry and making classes; talks and workshops to inspire and upskill; exhibitions, and Meet the Maker events, with plenty of opportunities for all.
