Newlyn Society of Artists

A group of 85 professional contemporary artists working across all disciplines from painting and sculpture to performance with strong links to Cornwall's vibrant contemporary art scene. Recent initiatives include an exciting new partnership with Temenheere Sculpture Gardens hosting two exhibitions a year in the new Tremenheere Gallery and workshop projects collaborating with local Colleges and other local groups in response to members' exhibitions. Originally founded in 1896 the NSA has a long history of emminent member artists including Patrick Heron, Stanhope Forbes and Laura Knight.
