Experiment with various methods of colouring, layering and transferring dyes onto fabric and paper using dyes, gums, resists, stencils and mark-making. There will be a focus on experimentation and you can expect to gain skills and confidence in new working methods and produce a selection of fabric samples and/or small textile/paper artworks by the end of the workshop. Drawing from a wealth of knowledge and experience of process based practice, Dawn will demonstrate techniques and suggest ways to distort or manipulate these processes as well as encourage development of personal ideas.
