Clayhill Arts is proudly supporting the SAW Artist Development Programme this year and has been hosting two emerging artists, Emma Housley and Megan Wakelam. Both have been granted the SAW Creative Pathways Bursary and have been in residence at Clayhill since May 2019.

Pennie Elfick received a Development Bursary from SAW, allowing her to develop a new body of work in 3D form, including free-standing outdoor pieces and wall hanging sculptures.

All three artists will be in conversation during this event, discussing their practice and interest in painting and landscape. The setting of Clayhill has been greatly influential for their work and they will be discussing their experiences whilst being in residence here.
