select connect presents What sort of creatures are we?

Jenny is a painter, sculptor using mixed materials, collector

Jenny Leigh is interested in acknowledging our wild natural roots, and celebrating the essential interconnectedness of things. Her presentation will describe how she has discovered a context for her practice, and developed new ways of working. Her suggestion is that we remember and include our organic nature in the way we perceive and shape reality. As the technology and the ecology are changing so fast, there is the possibility of a rich integration, a melding of old and new, that could be respectful of all of Life. Is it possible that we could gather together to imagine different ways of being in the world? Jenny will have copies of her wonderful book for sale (limited edition prints) and a display of her work.
