Deadline Wednesday 03 April 2019

Salary 25,694-29,854 pro rata
Hours 15 hours per week
Interview Date To be confirmed

The Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery (RAMM) is a much loved institution at the heart of Exeter and Devon's cultural life, telling local stories alongside international ones, through exceptional collections that embrace world cultures, natural history, antiquities and art. Multi-dimensional, multi-disciplinary and multi-award winning, judges have described the Museum as modest in scale but vast in its ambition and imagination.

Through your work as one of our Engagement Officers at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) you will help enhance and enrich people's experience of the museum; its collections and exhibitions. By developing and leading partnerships and programmes of work, you will widen and deepen the participation of visitors, in groupings that might range from whole audience segments through to targeted work around need or special interest.

This post is for 15 hours per week. 6 of these 15 hours will be worked on Wednesdays between 10:00-16:00, the remaining working hours will be agreed between the line manager and successful applicant. Please note there will be requirement for some evening and weekend working.

The Museum is funded by Exeter City Council with partnership funding as a Major Partner Museum from Arts Council, England.
