The Arts Council England (ACE) have announced their Emergency Funding Package for the sector. This consists of a total of £160m broken down as follows:

• £20m for individuals and freelancers

• £50m for organisations outside of the National Portfolio

• £90m for National Portfolio Organisations (NPOs)

It is anticipated that further details about how to apply for these funds will be confirmed next week. In the meantime, you can read more by visiting artscouncil.org.uk/covid19.

If you already receive funding, ACE have also prepared an update on all live funds, including information about whether a fund is temporarily on pause, or if application deadlines have changed. You can find all of this new information here.

In response to these updates, VASW will be hosting a series of free webinars to explore options for everyone within the sector during this uncertain time. We will be announcing details for these in the next week, so please keep an eye on our Facebook or Twitter feed. Please help us spread the word by sharing any posts you think members of your community, following or organisation would benefit from.
