b-side Director
We are looking for a creative, visionary leader to drive the organisation’s ambition and expand our portfolio of funders.
Our current Director will be retiring later this year, so b-side are looking for a creative, visionary leader to drive the organisation’s ambition and expand our portfolio of funders.
You will be an energised and positive team player who is able to engage others, work to specific goals, ‘get things done’ and design and deliver longer-term projects. This is a unique and special opportunity to work with a small, ambitious and forward-looking team, which is forging new plans for future development.
You will play a key role in devising and leading change, working collaboratively with colleagues and in partnership with stakeholders in order to realise the full scale of b-side's considerable ambition. You’ll be passionate about the value of the arts within communities and committed to encouraging diversity amongst providers, participants and the governance of the organisation.
b-side is an internationally recognised and locally loved arts organisation that both embodies and enriches the Isle of Portland in Dorset. The island is the beating heart that inspires b-side’s work, but our reach extends nationally and internationally. B-side is part of Arts Council National Portfolio.
Every two years, our b-side festival brings new, unique art to local audiences and visitors, sharing incredible stories about and with the Isle of Portland, as well as the rest of the world.
