Call for artists
New Artists Mentoring Programme
A year-long programme of mentoring and support for young visual artists.
The programme will offer 5 new artists (aged 16 - 25 yrs from Weymouth & Portland) support to develop, try and test work in a site-responsive context. Participants will have opportunities to see exhibitions, installations and work by other artists and take part in a training programme, alongside mentoring from a professional artist.
There is a dedicated budget allowance to make work as well as a travel allowance to 'go and see' art across the region.
