Temporary Curator for online litter exhibition

The Arts Insti­tute, Uni­ver­si­ty of Ply­mouth is seek­ing a cura­tor to bring togeth­er a selec­tion of artists who work with litter

The Arts Institute, University of Plymouth is seeking a curator to bring together a selection of artists who work with litter and/ or the concept of litter within their work, to feature on an online exhibition to accompany an international micro-plastics conference in October-November 2020.

The curator is expected to select up to 8 artists, whose work opens up new questions and positions concerning litter and the environment, situated within a framework that engages the relevant issues with a wide range of audiences. The Arts Institute will provide a digital platform to feature the selected artists.

The intention is that this pilot project will become a gallery based exhibition at a later date, subject to suitability, funding and schedules.
