Tender to produce an animated film: The Secret Life of Pests
Invitation to Tender for The Secret Life of Pests; a £5000 contract for an animated film for museums and heritage on integrated pest management
South West Museum Development is advertising an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for The Secret Life of Pests; a £5000 contract for the production of a short animated film to share skills with museums and heritage organisations on integrated pest management.
The team at South West Museum Development wanted to provide a creative and engaging way to develop the skills and knowledge of staff and volunteers to care for collections and specifically in pest management. Thanks to a grant from Art Fund we can now realise this ambition through the production of an animated film, The Secret Life of Pests.
1. We have a budget of £5,000 to commission an animated film which is approximately 4-5 minutes long, that is simple and illustrative in style, includes a voice over and complies with accessibility.
2. Any spoken word needs to also be accompanied by subtitles and all text needs to meet accessibility guidelines for typeface, size and contrast.
3. We will also require a transcript of all spoken dialogue to upload with the video to our website.
4. Alongside this we would like to separate out short sections of the animated video to use within our online communications - twitter, e-newsletter etc. (5 - 15 second edits)
