The collection will focus on the landscape and coastline of the broader South West region, with a mix of Hannah's characteristic paint laden canvases and gestural graphite drawings that sit somewhere between the figurative and the abstract in aiming to capture the sense of a disappearing landscape.
'Clearly she is not setting out to produce an accurate visual record of a place - fidelity to the motif is not her primary concern. Instead she seems concerned to embed her emotional response to the landscape within the paint itself...'
