Making Marks: Markmaking in the 21st Century

Six artists with a range of styles exploring various methods and techniques involved with mark-making in the 21st Century.

Exhibition Open to the public 2nd – 26th Nov
Tuesday – Saturday 10 – 4pm except Friday pm.

Making Marks: Mark-making in the 21st Century is an exhibition that brings together six very different artists: Andy Baker, Norman Barns, Keith Crocker, Sarah Darke, Jenny Graham and Adam Grose.

Their practice explores mark making through using a variety of methods, investigating responses to the surface and reality through their marks made on a given surface. Through drawing, painting, photography and collage, these artists bring together a variety of work made during the 21st Century up to the present, with new work created over the last 18 months.

Over the course of the exhibition many of the exhibiting artists will be on site to talk about the work and also be in-residence making work too. Check curator Adam Grose's instagram: @adam.grose.fineart or https://adamgrose.co.uk for updates when each artist will be resident at the Creative Innovation Centre. #letscreate
