Miriam Sheppard: Head in the Clouds
An exhibition of oil paintings and graphite works responding to sky, light and atmosphere.
The sky as the source of light is the subject of Miriam’s paintings and graphite works. In the tradition of Constable the painter finds emotions and their vicissitudes mirrored in cloud formations and heightened in the shafts of sunlight that pass through the gaps in the clouds.
