An exhibition by Nick Parrett
This exhibition reflects Nick's non-literal approach to his image making which allows freedom to portray his inspirations coming from nature, spirituality and life's cycle.
He has been influenced by many of the colourists in Art including The Abstract Expressionists, David Hockney, Howard Hodgkin, Gerhard Richter and Anselm Kiefer.
Nick`s Work and methodology:
Nick works in mixed media but recent work has been creating large (one off) acrylic monoprints in slightly larger than A1 size on Canaletto. These are sometimes made using multiple screens and some are one screen only.
Nick continues with his interests in oil painting, woodcuts, printmaking and photography.
