Recent paintings and works on paper by the artist David Foord (b. 1991).
The exhibition will feature a selection of works made since 2019 that illustrate his unorthodox and intuitive approach to style and subject. Drawing on such wide-ranging fields as local history, hostile architecture, prisons, private communities, football, and the suburbs, David creates surreal and poetic interpretations of our surrounding landscape.
He has been living and working in Bristol since 2013 having studied in Bournemouth and Bath.
