RAMM Lates

RAMM Lates is back! We are excited to be welcoming you back to the museum to delight in an after-hours night of exploration and entertainment.

Enjoy music from local musician Jess McAllister who will be performing her free-spirited nostalgic folk, through to rhythmic, gutsy blues, rock and pop. Be enthralled by our wonderful flamenco dancer Karina Gracia as she performs accompanied by live music. Perhaps the mood will take you to join in on the night!

Meet live reptiles and insects, including a blue tongue skink, panther chameleon, African fat-tailed gecko, and many more. Learn more about these fascinating species with specialist Chris Johnson. Are you brave enough to hold one?

Travel around the world from the comfort of the museum and enjoy stories streamed live from storytellers in Mexico and Belgium, as they join local storyteller David Heathfield in telling us tales inspired by RAMM’s collection.

Join ethical taxidermist and natural history restorer Jazmine Miles-Long as she shares her experience working on a recently commissioned project for us, preserving a river otter Beaver. Our natural sciences curator Holly Morgenroth will also be talking on the night about some of the most characteristic and intriguing wildlife in our collection.

Sit back and enjoy our In Conversation event with internationally-acclaimed photographer Michelle Sank, talking with our contemporary art curator Lara about her current exhibition ‘Breathe’. Find out more about her work here.

Artist Amy Shelton’s Biophilia exhibition, currently installed at RAMM, features artworks she has made from a palette of wild and cultivated plants that grow across Exeter. Join Amy on the night to create your very own small pieces of art, inspired by her work.

Explore the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition (ticket price included in your ticket for the night). Meet with and learn more about the Exeter Seed Bank and take part in our butterfly craft activity, creating your own to take home.

Or simply relax and catch-up with friends over a drink or a bite to eat; the Museum Café will be open and we are excited to welcome Bar Nova for the first time, to provide all your beverage requirements on the night.

Book your tickets now to be sure not to miss out!
