Reduction Lino Printing with Jess Davies
Learn how to use a simple but very effective method of ‘reduction’ linocut printing, which you can then do at home without the need for a press.
Everything will be provided but you might like to bring your ideas for simple designs, though guidance will be given. We will be using water-based inks but even so, wear old clothes if you’re a messy creative!
£80, booking via Eventbrite essential, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
Lunch is not included in the ticket fee so please bring a packed lunch.
On arrival please make your way to the side gate of the Riverside Mill, through the courtyard and up the stone stairs on the side of the building. Please let us know if you require the lift.
Please be aware that you cannot use the Co-op car park for all day parking. The Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park usually have plenty of spaces.
Workshop Guidance:
• Maintain a reasonable distance from other participants - unless you live with them
• Use hand sanitiser when you enter/exit the workshop room
• There is no fire alarm test scheduled during the workshop. If the alarm sounds, exit the building and wait in the Co-op car park.
• If you feel unwell on the workshop day, please stay at home
• We encourage you to do a lateral flow test prior to attending a workshop
