Drop net­work­ing & mak­ing using text & sound, as part of CAMP on Tour

Free and open to all, no booking required.
26 March 2022, 12noon - 4pm at Back Lane West, Redruth, TR15 2BT

Join CAMP’s Writers' KIN group and Soundart Radio for a series of drop in activities and networking.

Free drop-in events:

12pm: A Sculpture That Wants to Get Made
A group reading of KINsequences, a co-created and illustrated text by CAMP’s Writer’s KIN group. There will be the opportunity to join in and ask questions.

1pm: Shared Lunch
A chance to meet and hear about CAMP and Soundart Radio.
Gabi Marcellus-Temple, CAMP’s new Inclusive Growth Coordinator will also be there to chat about CAMP and introduce people to each other.

2 – 3pm: Making
Working together, we will create multi-layered concertina booklets.

3 – 4pm: Create a Soundscape
Working with Soundart Radio, we’ll create a soundscape of the immediate environment.

Any resulting work may be shared at the next CAMP on Tour event, and/or broadcast on Soundart Radio at 9-11am 3rd April 2022 102.5FM or online at www.soundartradio.org.uk

Access: There is a level entrance to the Back Lane West studio which is on the ground floor. There is a ground floor toilet with level access but it is not big enough to manoeuvre a wheelchair.

WHO'S WHO
Writers’ KIN is a group of artists using text in their practice, who regularly meet through the CAMP network. If you’re a CAMP member and would like to come along to a Writers’ KIN meet up, just email CAMP on info@camp-membership.org

Soundart Radio is a licensed community arts radio station based on the Dartington Estate.
