thoughts, words & dreams charts our journey through lockdown, combining both THIS TOO WILL PASS, a sculpture by Tim Scrace, and THIS IS MY HOPE, a photography competition by Alabaré.

THIS TOO WILL PASS was conceived as a temporary public art installation to celebrate movement, located on Salisbury's High Street at the end of lockdown.

The installation encouraged people to move between its interrelated parts, inviting them to stop and reflect on their past, present and future. Over two months, the sculpture was seen by over 90,000 people with over 3,000 interactions.

The charity Alabaré ran THIS IS MY HOPE, a national photography competition, during lockdown, asking people to convey their sense of hope, for their life, community and our world; seemingly such a simple word that has recently come to mean so much.

Drawing on the collective consciousness experienced by recent events, the fusion of these two projects offers a compelling reflection on our times and an opportunity to look forward to better days.

Proceeds from the sale of the limited edition book thoughts, words & dreams will support a community fund while money raised from the sale of limited edition photography prints will support Alabaré's work with the homeless.
