VASW Webinars on Arts Emergency Funding
VASW advises artists, independent arts workers and small-to-medium arts organisations on applying for ACE’s COVID-19 emergency funding.
Arts Council England (ACE) has now announced the full guidance and details on the COVID-19 emergency funding strands for individuals, National Portfolio Organisations and organisations outside ACE’s National Portfolio. These emergency funds will open to applications in April to alleviate the pressure caused by suspended programmes and lost income across the visual arts ecology in England.
Over the next week, Visual Arts South West will channel its Sector Support capacities into advising individuals and organisations outside the National Portfolio on applying for emergency funding.
The VASW Network Manager Paula Orrell will host a series of webinars to discuss the funding criteria, application process and the various impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on the lives of artists, independent arts workers and small-to-medium scale arts organisations without consistent funding.
The webinars are free to attend and open to all, with capacity for 25 participants each. The first half of the series is aimed at those applying in Round 1, opening to applications on 9 April, and the second half will focus on Round 2, opening to applications on 16 April.
